About Joni Marriott
Joni Marriott was born in the roaring 80s of Berlin and has lived, loved, and worked in small town Saarbrücken for a long time now. She likes to draw complicated things in the most simple way and works for clients such as the New York Times, The New Yorker, or Die Zeit. She also loves doing drawing yoga at big murals or brain yoga with her tiny daily drawings, her ongoing project for 10 years. The dailies are what shape her artistic identity most and are published in the form of a daily calendar. She is riding completely analog and loves to get her hands dirty and her drawings clean. Her art in three words: weird, touching, smart.
